Immortal players are leading, building, controlling this worlds life and they do not take part in playing the game. But they cannot assist you if they find your request reasonable. You can always see if there is any visible immortal online by typing 'who i'. Though if you are really need a gods attention you can use 'pray' command to get the attention from the gods.
